i keep seeing chrome bolt carriers, and i wonder if it is realy any better for a plinker ar?

When I ordered my kit from model one I asked them the same question.
They could've bullsh-ted me and said it was way better....but they said ABSOLUTELY no difference....other than asthetics...pimped out YO!
One thing I heard is that they are easier to clean than classic bolt carriers:)

well da shiny bling bling one look phat yo and da black one be all just chillin like gilligan.......ok to be honest i have one of each chrome and non chrome that i have switched between rifles with now diferance what so ever the chrome one is easier to clean so if that helps any.
