I bought my PMAGs from Model 1 a couple of years ago. They're a pleasure to do business with.

The pmags are cool. I still use USGIs religiously. They work fine.

Last time I ordered mags I got some of the Brownells mags which work well. Unless prices have gone up recently I would likely order PMags or similar from Brownells since I get the discount.

I like Pmags but they are pricey compared to regular GI metal ones. I like them because of the dust cover and the window. Yes, you can call me lame but I like gadgets.

I have a box of the HK Maritime M16 mags that I bought when they first came out and never used. They cost too damn much to use except during a Zombie apocalypse.

I bought roughly 100 off of Browning BDA a few years ago and needing mags hasn't crossed my mind since. I guess that'd make my preferred vendor wickedgrips.

You bought 100 magazines? Really? Are you planning on equipping a rifle platoon?

You need as many as you can get when you live where I do.

The last thing you want to happen when you're sitting in a lawn chair drunk on a tuesday night and needing to punctuate a sentence or add a little more oomph to a long rambling story is to find out your ar-15 is empty and so are all your mags.

I think we have been conditioned as American's to buy lots of magazines that we probably will never use due to the last Assault Weapons Ban. That Bill Clinton law drove prices for a single magazine to $100 in some cases.

I know that I measure my mags in pounds as it is easier.

Magazines are almost always the first thing they go after too. I remember ar-15 mags were $30 and up during the ban. When it expired you could get them for 5-10 bucks if you bought in enough bulk. You didn't know if the ban was coming back in a month or after the next election or the one after that. I was buying magazines for glocks I didn't even own just for speculative purposes. Forget the guns, you could get those later. It was a different time for sure.

Thanks guys. I was already looking at those MAGPUL PMAGs. 15.00 a pop doesn't seem to bad.

Love discounts. $13.29 w/Midway discount, $12.97 w/Brownells discount, $125 for 10.

Midway USA also has the 30 round MagPul Maglevel mags for $17.05 USD each Link

Midway wins here, Brownells is $16.55, $164.50 for 10, Midway is $15.99.

Midway is a little better retail on both.

Shh... Don't tell anyone but there is secret special for the Maglevel mags at $13.81 each here

Always good to catch a deal out there.
