They offer these in .510DTC also, so that means us Californians and others suffering under the .50BMG ban can get one no problem.
I'm seriously considering one of these in the long term, however I have heard some issues with the first one that shipped. Issues include surface rust on one customer's upper, and minor fitting needed on the lower used with the upper to ensure that the hammer has free travel to strike the firing pin without hitting the walls/front end of the upper. My guess is though that these issues are the result of a small company just starting up, and these issues will hopefully be corrected, if not minimized, in time.
The owner seems like a good, honest guy that really is trying his best to offer a good product. You'll see him posting on a few gun forums talking about his product when someone else starts a topic. Google "Bohica Arms" and a few topics that he has posted in will come up.
Also, the uppers might not be under $1000 any more; it might have been just an introductory price. I'm not sure about it 100%.
