illinois Machine gun ownership?

ive been trying to look up stuff on whether or not i can own a machine gun in illinois ive see alot of conflicting articles so i dont know what to believe so i was wondering if anyone knows whether or not i can here i have heard also with a C&R license you can get them if the C&R eligible i know i cant get one until im 21 anyways (i think) but theyre pretty expenxive so this gives me more time to save up

Sorry!

In Illinois, machineguns, silencers, SBR's, SBS's are not allowed for non-FFL's.

However, you may own a registered AOW - any other weapon.

if you can qualify for a class 3 license ...sure you can, if they issue class 3 dealer licenses there.

Machineguns: Only FFL/SOT licensed
Silencers: No
SBR: Only FFL/SOT licensed
SBS: Only FFL/SOT licensed
AOW: Yes
DD: Type 9 ATF Holder

Don't quote me on this, but I heard they stopped issuing Class 3 FFLs after 1968.

It is a felony to use a class 3 dealer liscence to obtain automatic weapons for yourself.

as long as it is a per '85, why? do the paper work and it should be as legal as a 03 FFL holder geting a gun for themselves.

Mc, think about it. The kid's only 14 years old. How would he know about laws governing automatic weapons if he can't even follow the TOS of this website?

i saw, i am just wondering where he got the idea, got to keep the kids straght about the laws.
