  1. Hey Media! Colt AR-15's were marketed to hunters originally. The US media and certain Democrat politicians are trying to rewrite history when it comes to the AR-15 rifle. Colt Firearms originally marketed the rifle to sportsmen as a hunting and sports rifle and not a "Weapon of War". This is an example of the original Colt Firearms marketing for the AR-15 Sporter. Notice the text, "Superb Hunting Partner, Colt's New AR-15 Sporter"
  2. Lucky to have even picked this one up. Saw the writing on the wall on the night of 18 December, and got it for 1400. At the time I thought I overpaid slightly, but now these are selling for 2500 - 3000. Dealer pulled a fast one on me and said he had a "mixup" and sold it in the store after I purchased it. Of course, he only knew this after two people prior to him both confirmed this weapon was set aside, and after he had received my cashiers check and deposited it. In any case, I held him to the original auction, and instead of getting the 6920 magpul I won, he decked out a Sporter (same system) with magpul accessories for me. Gave me a nicer buttstock than would actually come with the magpul version.
