 Rating:  - Good, affordable, no-frills humidifierThis humidifier works well and is very affordable compared to others on the market. It doesn't have some of the features that other offer, such as a humidity sensor. But its variable output can be set to an appropriate level and it runs for a full 10+ hours on a single tank. There seems to be confusion about its capacity. The tank only holds about 1 gallon of water. I think Crane should be clearer that the 2.3 gallon figure in the name refers to the daily output, not the tank capacity. ... Amazon is refusing to replace the defective product because it's outside of the 30 day return policy. I'm not trying to return the merchandise, I'm trying to exchange the defective one for a new one. I own the same unit and have used it for several months without problems. I'm extremely disappointed in the unit and it being a huge waste of money.
