This humidifier, during the brief time it worked, looked nice in our child's room and created a fine, cool mist. Then, after approximately a half dozen uses, the mist simply stopped. I could hear the fan, but the element was not creating any mist. My wife and I liked the humidifier during it's brief life so, after returning the broken humidifier, we purchased another one (same model). The new unit lasted one week ...
