M-2HB .50 cal Machine Gun

A Gunner's Mate fires a .50 caliber machine gun from off the hangar bay of USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72). While the ship's air wing is its main weapon, the carrier has the Phalanx Close-In Weapons System to defend against close-in airborne threats and machine guns and other weapons for use against small, waterborne attackers.
